I am looking for a great beginner quilt\piecing book
at one time I thought there was a book called the quilt bible but I may be wrong... don't tell my husband I said that

There is a book called the quilt bible. I also like the set of books written by Harriett abs Carrie Hargrave. They start with the basics and there are 4 volumes out now. The name is Quilter's Academy. You can find it at amazon.com, Connecting Threads (for 40% off), and I've even seen them at JoAnns. I hope this helps. :-)
