Moving Forward

Cause I don't like whats behind me
a broken longarm (fixed but not back)
non quilted quilts for the quild show
one employee in the hospital for the last 10 days
shipments going to the wrong place
every wholesaler in the US and Canada out of the Dresden ruler
I am not going with my original planned booth
last but not least it is going to Rain for the next two days

So moving forward
I am running to the city to do the last of my printing
Cutting the last of my kits
packing everything
running over my booth in my head not much left in there
drive to the border and pick up the last of my patterns and fabric
get Bentley in to her grade 10 classes today
my list goes on and on

Last night Mr. Sugar fixed the two screen doors for the display, I love how they turned out
he did and excellent job they will be the best thing in the booth
his best friend by his side
notice its not me honest that is not me

and then our little hosser came over to visit
You have just got to love that touque that she refuses to leave the house with and it is hot and sunny
and then she had a little time in the lake house Mr. Sugar is building for the grandkids
She hung her touque on the hook inside
the deck is going on next week

Stay tuned for reports from the guild show tomorrow
I will show you setup

Crazy, we are 4 days from the Gild show in Lethbridge this friday and saturday
and you know how thing just don't

WELL THE LONGARM MACHINE IS IN THE REPAIR SHOP ONE MORE TIME
YES IT'S NEW

So today we spent the whole day getting all of our kits ready for the show
the quilts might not be qulted by the kits will be ready
here are all my little helpers

Mary just stopped in to pick up a couple of things, she is working on a couple things for the show. She cute a kit for another worker be to get sewed for the show
Loretta aka My Mom is busy reading the pattern for the kits she is about to cut

Then there is my daughter Mani she is awsome at putting fabrics together and getting things cut for kits, her expertise is folding the fabric to make the kits look so great
I didn't get a picture of Benny she was busy taking the fabric out of the system to keep or inventory straight, it means we don't have to count at the end of the year if we are diligent

hopefully the longarm will be back tomorrow and we will be back in business

Also tomorrow I will post this awsome new fabric that
shipped out today, every woman young and old

SO SO SO MUCH

I love spring market, it is such a busy time for all even if you are just attending.  I am going to start from the beginning so it may take a few days to get it all OUT.

We left monday after work May 9th the drive was not so bad until Greatfalls Mt. it started RAINING we stoped at Target and bought garbage bags to wrap up lugage.

(insert picture here, non it was raining to hard and my husband would kill me if I took this time to take a picture)

Just before Helena Mt it was snowing so hard and far below zero (canadian temp) Mr. Sugar had to put it into 4 wheel drive, and by now it was dark, we drove as far a Butte Mt. and stoped for the night, good thing
Next morning we woke up to more rain
and by the time we hit the Montana, Idaho border this is what we had

 SNOW

AND MORE SNOW

by Idaho Falls Mr. Sugar was ready to stop and no place better than
HERE

Ya my mom was happy but I figure an hour here for four days of all fabric good trade off
here he is in all his glory

Then we were on the road to Utah
Ya it was RAINING

We then had to drive like crazy to make Handi Quilter by
5 pm

we arrived at 5:45 and they were waiting for us to pull in
long story short
this is my machine the HQ 16

this is my new machine the HQ Avani

This made it worth the trip to Utah and I have not been to market yet

Stay tuned for tomorrow so much to tell ya
